The Walt Disney World Swan and its neighbor, the Walt Disney World Dolphin, share a three-acre grotto swimming pool, and guests can rent boats along the white-sand beach designed for waterfront sunning. Rental cars are available from this Web site. Rental car desks and courtesy shuttles to offsite rental car desks are on airport Level One: More than $36. Mears Transportation offers shuttles for $26–$35 adult return and $15–$25 child (4–11 years) return, with no charge for children under 3. Taxis, Town Cars, and limousines are available on Level One: More than $36. Fees subject to change without notice. Getting around: Hotel provides complimentary shuttle services to all theme parks within Walt Disney World as well as water taxis to Epcot Center, MGM Studios, Disney Boardwalk, and the Disney Yacht and Beach Club. Garden Grove Café - Inspired by a sunny garden gazebo, this light-filled dining room is open for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served buffet style and lunch is an offering of soups, salads, sandwiches, and other light fare. A Japanese breakfast menu is offered daily. Disney characters make an appearance on Saturday mornings. Gulliver’s - Gulliver’s is the nightly transformation of Garden Grove, and it features a variety of cuisines—from barbecued shrimp and prime rib to pizzas and burgers. Disney characters are special guests on some evenings. Palio - This casual Italian bistro offers traditional Italian fare—gnocchi, risotto, linguine in clam sauce, and other specialties. Beef, chicken, and fresh fish creations round out the expansive menu. Kimonos - Sushi and sake are served in this beautiful little restaurant. Cooked entrées, including yakitori and fresh fish, are also offered. The fun starts when the karaoke machine cranks up after dark. Splash Grill - This poolside cafe serves lunch and snacks, including pizza and burgers. Lobby Court - This quiet spot just off the lobby serves pastries and coffee in the morning, and wine and specialty drinks in the afternoon and evening. A pianist often entertains after dark.

The Swan blends whimsy and sophistication, incorporating the graceful birds everywhere, in places such as furniture carvings and fountains. Many guests like the hotel’s intimacy and understated ambience. Amenity highlights: The heated grotto pool with adjacent children’s playground is a popular spot year-round, as is the white-sand beach, with its pedalboats and hydro-bikes. For kids, there’s Camp Dolphin at the nearby Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel. For both kids and adults, it’s a quick 5-minute walk to Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf courses. The Swan has six restaurants, and guests have access to all Disney restaurants through a dining reservation system.
