Most guests are here for the proximity to the theme parks, and families often gather poolside in the late afternoon after a day in the parks. Amenity highlights: Two heated outdoor pools, a children’s pool, a spa, a game room, and an exercise room are among the on-site perks. Guests have access to all Disney activities, including golf, tennis, parasailing, fishing, horseback riding, and even surfing in Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. The hotel’s Tipsy Parrot lounge gets lively after dark. Insider tip: On rainy days, skip the theme parks and head to DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney. This interactive theme park has a simulated roller coaster and other Disney-designed activities on five floors. It’s good for two or three hours of fun.

Please note: As of December 30, 2003, The Courtyard by Marriott was re-branded as the Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort. The hotel ownership and staff has been unaffected by the re-branding. However, the Holiday Inn offers new TVs in all guestrooms and guests younger than 12 will be offered complimentary meals in the on-site restaurant.
